From Kraków with Love
Two weeks ago, we returned from a trip to Kraków. This time, the main reason for our travels was a Metallica concert. The concert itself was at the Silesian Stadium, but Katowice decided to dress up as a world - class metropolis for the day and demanded £300 a night for accommodation. So we chose to stay in Kraków and commute to the concert instead. And Kraków, being Kraków, was as lovely as ever.
Here are the top five highlights of our Lesser Poland - Silesia adventure.

Edda
Edda Göring was the daughter of Hermann Göring - a Nazi criminal, Luftwaffe marshal, and war criminal sentenced to death in the Nuremberg Trials.
Edda always spoke very warmly of her father. For most of her life, she fought to defend his good name and to reclaim "Virgin and the Child" - painting that had been given to her as a christening gift and confiscated after her father’s arrest.
The text below is my attempt to slip into her thoughts.

The Engagement
These are the times we live in - nothing stays hidden anymore. Everything tracks us, listens to us, and keeps an eye on us. Sometimes it even reads our thoughts and spits out ads guided by those very thoughts. So the moment Facebook and Instagram started tempting me with jewellery, I knew something was up. Something was brewing. In other words - something was going on.
